Evaluation
Evaluation- Jason Jouan
The original concept was for a hostage idea. Although due to the fact that we could only ad two people in the shot , we subsequently chose to do a one on one normal conversation. If I was to change anything that we did as a group, it would be to have a wider knowledge of the exact camera angles and shots to use rather than improvising and choosing the appropriate shot after.
Most of the work that we did before hand helped as it let us have a easier understanding of what to do. However in my opinion the story board was the most useful due to the fact that it guided us on the day of shooting as to what angles and shots to execute.
The main aspect that we had to alter was the scene in general. The reason to this is because initially we wanted to have three people in the scene, one of whom was the hostage and the other two having a conversation regarding the victim held hostage. However we soon concluded that this wasn't the right way forward as the hostage didn't have any lines to say, thus it wouldn't be appropriate and effective to how we initially planned it to be.
Overall,as a conclusion the camera cuts were slick, and smooth. The editing was also good. An issue that can be pointed out is in some parts the facial expressions portrayed weren't as serious as they could've been. Having said that looking at it in general, the production was good.
